Českokrumlovsko, Český Krumlov 1. 1. 2010 - 31. 12. 2010The formermunicipal brewery, now a gallery. 5000m2 - of which 3000m2 is exhibition area, 1500m2 studios and apartments for contemporary artists, 500 m2 museum shop and café in the magnificent Renaissance complex of buildings of the former Municipal Brewery in the centre of Český Krumlov. Within the premises of the Egon Schiele Art Centrum visitors have the unique opportunity to examine a series of original graphics, but also personal correspondence, visiting cards, furniture, scores of photographs and last but not least an extensive exhibition devoted to Schiele’s ancestors on the Czech side, his residence in Krumlov and in particular the Krumlov motifs on Schiele’s paintings and drawings.
