Winter holiday in South Bohemia and Mühlviertel
Českobudějovicko, České BudějoviceThe main center is in Šumava with two largest ski resorts in Zadov and Lipno nad Vltavou. The region of Jindřichův Hradec is growing in popularity too, but winter-sport lovers will find other parts of South Bohemia attractive as well. Most people head for the Šumava winter resorts with ski slopes of various difficulty, snow parks and a wide selection of winter adventures. Cross-country skiers may choose from tens of kilometers of trails, either on forested hills or carefully treated trails in the Churanov stadium where they may meet the Czech Olympic champion.
