Jewish Synagogue
The synagogue is a remnant from the time of an independent Jewish community.
The building served as a synagogue from 1907 until the Nazi occupation. After World War II, it was used by the Czechoslovak Hussite Church for its own purposes and was purchased by the church in 1960. In 1992, the independent religious community in Hluboká nad Vltavou was dissolved. Since then, the building fell into disrepair. In 2006, the Prague Diocese purchased the space and began necessary renovations. In 2013, the Hus House, located in the former synagogue building, was ceremoniously reopened.
