The Quest for Giant Easter Eggs and Easter at Hluboká - April 3 - May 3
Go in search of giant Easter eggs painted with original motifs. Walking circuits will take you through Hluboka nad Vltavou and the immediate surroundings, and you can also play the Family Map Game along the way, completing challenges along the way.
Easter at the NPP Temelín Information Centre - date to be specified
At the Vysoký Hrádek Chateau near NPP Temelín, there are fun competitions with sweet rewards for children and a rich programme full of entertainment for the whole family. At the farmers' market you can buy from local producers, try your hand at knitting pom poms and decorating Easter eggs or take part in various competitions. Music and magic performances will also be part of the programme. Entrance is free.
Easter in Hluboká Park - date to be announced
Enjoy the Easter holidays to the fullest in Hluboká Park, where a lot of attractions await you - giant inflatable trampolines, mini golf, rope park and children's rope course, ferrata with equipment rental and beach volleyball with a view of the castle. After an active day you can relax in the restaurant, café or with a cocktail in the Aloha Bar. There will also be Easter creative workshops and a special Easter drink offer.
Easter at the Hluboká Zoo -April 3 - April 6
The zoo is celebrating Easter this time from Friday to Monday. A busy programme with spring and Easter themes awaits you every afternoon. You will sweat in the egg hunt, get creative in the creative workshop and learn a lot of interesting things about our animals in the guided sessions.

You can look forward to a demonstration of customs and traditions associated with Easter in South Bohemia, as well as creative workshops for children and adults and much more.
Easter Pomlazek Knitting at Hněvkovice Mill - date to be specified
You can take part in the event Knitting pomlazek for charity at the Královcov Mill in Hněvkovice near Týn nad Vltavou. You can expect fun activities and creations for children, knitting pom poms for a good cause and refreshments. In addition, you can visit the museum's amazing exhibition at a discounted price and learn about the history of milling, power generation, crafts and many other topics. Enjoy a pleasant spring afternoon at one of the last water mills on the Vltava River.
Traditional Easter Pilgrimage on Dobré Voda near České Budějovice - date to be announced
The largest pilgrimage in South Bohemia is traditionally held in the vicinity of the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows on Dobré Voda. An Easter Fair with stalls almost 800 metres long with a range of products from craftsmen and traders, including good refreshments, awaits you. There will be attractions, carousels and other enticements that your children will appreciate.
Easter at the Kněžínek Microbrewery - date to be announced
This year, the Kněžínek Microbrewery has prepared an Easter market from 11:00 to 18:00 and an Easter trail for children from 15:00. There will also be green beer, Easter menu and photopoints. Admission is free.

Traditional event on Piaristický náměstí, in Panská and Hroznová Street. The popular Old Bohemian Easter takes place here. You can expect demonstrations, sale of handicraft products of folk crafts and performances of folklore, folk and art groups. You can look forward to approximately 80 vendors of various crafts such as painted Easter eggs, pomlaki, baskets, ceramics, handmade jewellery, batik with original painting, carvers, modelled ceramics, hand-blown glass, soaps, sewn toys, gingerbread decorations, hand-woven textiles, leather products and more.

Easter is the most important Christian holiday, and therefore the traditional church ceremonies that are typical of the season must not be missed.
