On the Castles and Châteaux Route in Vodňansko
Discover the beauty of Vodňansko from the saddle of an e-bike. No hill is an obstacle – you decide the length of your route or follow one of the recommended routes through Vodňansko.
From Vodňany on Route 1099 through Chelčice, Truskovice, before Lomec, turn right (stay on Route 1099) towards Krtely, then at Setuń, turn left and ride through the forest to Kratochvíle. From there, continue on Route 1088. Then about 2 km on the main road around Netolice, at the end of the town turn left towards Hradiště. After about 500 m, follow Route 1089 B, then at the intersection turn left onto Route 1089 C. Important: Turn left onto Route 1089 towards Lomec. From here, follow the Zeyer Trail along the blue-marked hiking trail to Libějovice and the New Château. The descent along the main road passes the Old Château into the village. After the pub, turn left to Hvožďany, then continue on Route 1221 back to Vodňany.
