Across the Abandoned Settlements of the Kaplice Region

The Kaplice region is rich in old, abandoned settlements. You can see the remnants of some of these along this route, which will lead you through Bujanov (where there is a small horse-drawn railway museum in a former guardhouse) and the pilgrimage site Svatý Kámen with its healing spring, all the way to Cetviny and Janova Ves. From the former town of Cetviny, only the church, a fountain on the former square, and the cemetery have been preserved. On the road from Cetviny to Malont, you will see the remnants of farms and houses from other settlements.
