To the Ruins of Sokolčí and the Lookout Tower

Discover the beauty of the Kaplicko region from the saddle of an e-bike. No hill is too steep — it's up to you how long your route will be or whether you'll choose one of the recommended trails in the Kaplice area.

The route heading east from Kaplice offers several off-road and forest segments. Following cycle route 1187, you’ll reach the reservoir on the Černá River. We recommend taking a break by the river, above which rises an enormous rock formation hiding the ruins of the hunting castle Sokolčí. In Velké Skalice, the route connects with trail no. 1190. You can continue along this path until it meets no. 1189 toward Kaplice, or take a detour after Dluhoště along the main road to Hradiště, and from there climb up to the new lookout tower on Hradišťský vrch.
