Hluboká nad Vltavou is easily accessible by public transport, either by train on the České Budějovice–Plzeň route or by cycling from České Budějovice along the cycle path.

Starting Point: Sport and Recreation Area Hluboká, where you can rent bicycles or scooters.
Follow the cycle path (towards České Budějovice) to the village of Bavorovice, where you turn right.
The cycle path continues away from the main road, which you cross via an underpass.
After passing several ponds, you will reach the Munický Pond Dam, where you turn left through an alley and arrive at Hluboká Zoo.
The path continues along the zoo for 500 meters on the road, then turns towards Vondrov, looping around Munický Pond, which will remain on your right.
As you approach Hluboká nad Vltavou, you will pass a menhir site and the boat dock, where you can take a circular boat tour on the pond (another dock is located at the zoo exit).
