Open-air museum Vysoký Chlumec

In the picturesque valley of Libíň stream in Vysoký Chlumec there is a so-called nature resort of the open-air museum.

You will be transfered to the rural environment of our ancestors with the vernacular architecture of central Povltaví area and the life of a farming village.

You can see typical timbered farmhouses, farm buildings, granaries, technical objects on water drive, crosses, beehives and a dovecote. Most of them come from the period from the half of18th to the 20th century, but some of the "pieces" are much older.
