Pilgrimage church dating back to 1735. It is a significant Baroque monument, which was built by the architect Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer. The main creator of the interior decoration is Vaclav Vavřinec Reiner. The church has an oval shaped nave, which is covered by a bell copula.

Not far from České Budějovice is the most significant historical Baroque sight of all South Bohemia and its surroundings: The Church of Our Lady of Sorrows. The building was begun in 1733 and the concept of this work by Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer and Václav Vavřinec Reiner influenced many buildings in South Bohemia. The interior of this pilgrimage church is richly decorated. The main aisle is covered with an interesting bell-shaped cupola.
