Film gossip: The film's television broadcast premiere was set to air on Christmas Eve of 1973. Everyone was waiting at their TV screens, but a puppet show began to run instead of the anticipated feature film. "The person who had prepared the TV broadcast got the films mixed up," recalls Miloslav Paulík, the former castle director. After a few minutes of the puppet show, Zlatovláska from the Červená Lhota castle finally appeared on the screen. Miloslav Paulík even played a part in the film. "I'm in the scene with the king, played by Ladislav Pešek. I'm the servant carrying the fleece," remembered Miloslav Paulík in 2011.
