Vltavotyn Advent 2025
A rich programme during the Advent markets every Advent Sunday at the Peace Square in Týn nad Vltavou. We can look forward to a number of concerts, exhibitions, fairy tales and an interesting accompanying programme.
The programme of this year's Vltavotyn Advent will be a time of music, lights, theatre and gatherings over punch, bringing the peace and magic of the old Christmas to the town.
The Advent will bring concerts, fairy tales and markets on náměstí Míru. It will begin on 29 November with the St Nicholas train from Prague and on 30 November with the lighting of the Christmas tree.
One of the highlights of the programme will be an organ concert in St Nicholas Church in St Nicholas Square. The first concert at St. James' Church will feature compositions by the old masters and Advent songs performed by Alena Macková Čechová, organ master Karel Ochozka and the string group of the Collegium musicum Budvicenze chamber orchestra.
