Festival Vivat Vila VI.
"Not what is in the middle, but what surrounds us." The Vivat Vila! festival, whose primary goal is to save the important functionalist Kralova Vila, returns to Prachatice, South Bohemia, after a one-year break!
The event, organized by the association Živá vila together with Světadil from České Budějovice and Jednota from Tábor, has established itself on the Czech music scene as one of the most interesting medium-sized festival projects. It combines a socially engaged and community subtext (saving a valuable monument) with a carefully curated and innovative dramaturgy that follows the most contemporary of the Czech alternative and independent music and art scene.
