Easter rattle
Traditional Easter celebration on Přemysl Otakar II Square
Easter rattling is associated with Holy or Passion Week and the departure of the bells to Rome.
Each day will be marked by symbols:
- Thursday - Last Supper
- Friday - carving of crosses, coffin
- Saturday - fog, smoke
- Sunday - wedding
The first procession will go out on Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m. On Friday the parade goes at 8am, 12pm , 3pm and 7pm, Saturday at 8am and 12pm.
On Sunday (Resurrection Day) there will be no rush, but we will meet at Piarist Square at 12 p.m. to renew our marriage vows and then we will go into town in one big, joyful, wedding parade, with bands like URGOB, ÚSVIT, AÚÚNA, CONSONARE, HAKUNA MATATA, THE DARK BLUE ELEPHANTS and others.
