We open Třeboň
A varied program for the whole family in Masaryk Square and in the cultural sights of the city!
The opening ceremony of the tourist season in Třeboň will take place as part of the second year of the Otevíráme Třeboň event, when visitors can look forward to a day-long programme full of culture and spring activities.
The first market of the year will take place on Masaryk Square from 9.00 to 17.00, in the foyer of the J. In cooperation with the Třeboň Charity, creative workshops will be held at the Týla Theatre, where those interested will learn how to knit pomlázky, and in the Třeboň Nature House you can try the traditional way of decorating Easter eggs.
History lovers can visit the town museum, where a lecture by historian PhDr. Jiřina Psíková will take place from 14.00, dedicated to the 650th anniversary of the granting of royal rights to the town. From 10.00 a.m., a guided tour of the city will take place.
The programme will be complemented by activities in the Gallery of Buddhist Art with children's workshops in the yurt, guided tours and a harmonisation concert.
In the evening, the theatre will come alive with legendary rock songs performed by the Czech-Budejovian band Deep Purple South Bohemia Revival.
