Opening of the tourist and cycling season 2026 in Třeboň.

Traditional registration (paper) will take place at the Štěpánek Netolický House on Masaryk Square at 9:30-9:50 a.m.
This tour will give participants the opportunity to visit several unique places where people are dedicated to their craft with honesty and love. These include, for example, the Natural Garden with a vineyard, the small family café Káva od cesty, the weaving studio Matylda's Barn or the rural museum in Kojákovice.
Both routes will lead us through the Lutov Pond System, around the Staňkovský Pond and through Chlum u Třeboně. The short variant continues to Majdalena and along the forest trail to the finish in Trebon. The long version heads to Suchdol nad Lužnicí, Cep and Kojákovice.
The destination of the bike ride will be the U Vodníka Restaurant, where the country-folk band Sýkorky will start the programme from 14:30. At the same time, diplomas will be handed out and the questions on the participation sheets will be checked (correctly filled in sheets will go into the draw for prizes).
In order to leave our Třeboň landscape its unmistakable charm, we ask all participants of the bike ride to follow the rules of movement in the protected landscape area. Please be respectful to nature and local people. Do not disturb birds and other animals that are nesting or raising their young. There will be bins prominently placed along the route, so use them for your rubbish, or follow the rule: "Whatever I bring with me into the countryside, I also take away". Thank you.
