Tours of the Beneš Villa, Sezimovo Ústí
The individual tour starts at the Dr. Edvard Beneš Memorial and continues through the adjacent park to the villa of Hana and Edvard Beneš, where it is possible to use an audio guide. In 2026, it is always open from Tuesday to Sunday.
Beneš Villa is a unique reminder of an important period in our history. The distinctive and special style of the Benes house was influenced by South French architecture and is complemented by a large manicured garden.
The monument commemorating the second Czechoslovak president and one of the most important politicians of the First Republic is open to the public six days a week from May to early October, from Tuesday to Sunday. In October, only on public holidays.
The Visitor Circuit starts at the Edvard Beneš Memorial and is loosely followed by a walk through the adjacent park to the Beneš family villa. Using an audio guide, which will be available for a refundable deposit of CZK 100, visitors can listen to information about the presidential couple, the history of the villa and its surroundings, the exhibits on display and other interesting facts at individual stations in the upper garden and also directly in the villa.
Visitors to the Benes Villa no longer need to register in advance for the tour; purchasing a ticket will be sufficient for entry.
The last tickets will be available for purchase no later than 60 minutes before the end of operating hours.
