Vesec Festival 2026
The 2026 Fair will take place on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June 2026.
You can look forward to the band Poletíme?, whose frontman is the well-known musician and artist Rudolf Brančovský, the women's group Vesna, which represented the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, you will also see Peter Bende and his band, Kabat Revival West, for children there will be a performance of Bibibum, for brass band lovers there will be Musicians from South Bohemia and more. The traditional Ride down the hill on anything and the 10th anniversary year of the competition for the most delicious goulash will also be part of the event.
The style of the band Poletíme? self-describe as original banjo punk future jazz country, folkpunk for short, or turboshankson. The band celebrates its 18th anniversary this year, is made up of eight musicians and has seen only slight changes in its line-up over the years. They have released seven albums so far. And Rudolf Brančovský himself says: "My music is a mix of great fun, light instruction and a small invitation to hope."
