VIDINY Festival

At the end of August (20-24 August 2025), Třeboň experienced the second edition of the VIDINY festival of visual art. The purpose of the festival is to provide a creative and inspiring backdrop for interdisciplinary encounters between artists*women and professionals*from across the contemporary art scene, while giving artists the opportunity to present their work in the spaces of Třeboň 105 and other venues in the city and its immediate surroundings. The festival presented several solo exhibition projects and focused on visual and performance art in public space. The programme included concerts, VJing, film screenings with the artists, video projections and an accompanying programme.
The epicentre of VIDIN is Třeboň 105, a multifunctional cultural space in the heart of the city where gallery, biograph, theatre and concerts work synergistically side by side. The two floors of the gallery provide space for exhibitions and festival facilities, while the open air stage in the courtyard alternates between bands, debates, video projections and an accompanying programme.
Currently there are open calls for entries to become actively involved in the VIDINY 2026 festival programme. The calls are open to artists across disciplines and offer the opportunity to become part of the festival in its various forms. The current open calls can be found here
