5th International Comedy Film Festival
Get ready for a week full of laughter! We will be screening short and feature-length comedies from home and abroad.
The International Comedy Film Festival (IComFilmFest) brings to Jindřichův Hradec a week full of laughter, film experiences and the unique atmosphere of the historic town. The festival continues the tradition of the popular film festival in Třeboň and focuses exclusively on the comedy genre, connecting audiences across generations and cultures.
Visitors can look forward to a diverse showcase of short and feature-length comedies from the Czech Republic and abroad. The programme is complemented by talks with filmmakers, workshops, competition sections and accompanying cultural events that enliven the whole city. The festival offers not only screenings, but also the opportunity to meet film professionals and get a glimpse behind the scenes.
The whole week culminates with a closing ceremony during which the best films are awarded. The aim of the festival is not only to entertain, but also to show the breadth and quality of film comedy and to encourage international cooperation in this genre.
