Chlumans Market 2026
The small village of Chlumany will once again become a centre of regional producers and good mood. Already on Saturday, May 2, the area will be filled with stalls as part of the popular Chlumany Market. The organizers promise a rich program for the whole family, from honest farm products to a magic show.
What can visitors look forward to?
Fans of good food will enjoy the stalls with fresh pastries, honey, jams and other sweets. There will also be a fair range of farm produce such as cheese, cold cuts, crispy crackling and fresh fish. For gardeners, there will be a selection of seasonal vegetables, seedlings and flowers.
If you're looking for an original gift or trinket for pleasure, the Crafts section will offer handmade products, jewellery and ceramics. A selection of coffee, refreshing kombucha or wine will add to the atmosphere of a pleasant morning.
Cultural programme and entertainment
The market is not just about shopping, but above all about socialising. The musical backdrop will be provided by the band Malá parta, which will add the right vibe to the morning. A special programme is prepared for the youngest visitors - the popular magician Martin Čejka will perform his tricks. Refreshments will be provided by the popular Bistro Na lžíci.
A festive moment at Ky.By garden
This year's market will have one special item on the programme. The local Ky.By gardens project is celebrating 15 years of existence. On this occasion, a new wooden sculpture will be unveiled, which will become the new landmark of this green corner of Chluman.
