The Information Center of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant is located at the Vysoký Hrádek chateau, right next to the plant. You’ll learn how a nuclear plant works through computer simulations and animations. You can test your new knowledge with a fun quiz. You'll also find many real-life models of equipment from various sections of the plant. You’ll have a unique chance to examine a nuclear reactor up close and try to insert the control rods all the way to the bottom! You’ll discover the natural ionizing radiation around us and find out what “yellowcake” is. Don’t forget to snap an iconic selfie from the reactor hall as a souvenir!
