Museum of Nové Hrady

Today, the Novohradské Museum consists of four permanent exhibitions and a number of accompanying activities and regular events. Inside the Cultural and Community Center, visitors will find a room with a model of the Novohradské Mountains and an exhibition mapping the historical development of Nové Hrady. The unique model, at a scale of 1:12,500, represents over 500 km² and features 90 illuminated LEDs marking major mountains, villages, bodies of water, and natural landmarks of the region.

But a museum is more than just its exhibitions. Since 2013, the museum has hosted spring and autumn series of public lectures, exhibitions, summer excursions, and historical events related to the town and its surroundings.
