Grain Farming Museum Skočice

This exhibition presents a variety of tools that supported grain cultivation – from preparing the soil, sowing seeds, to harvesting. Learn how grain was processed and how wind and water mills made the work easier. Discover different grain types and the meanings of terms like chlebovina (bread cereal), žernov (millstone), ležák (lager grain), and běhoun (grindstone). The museum evokes memories for older generations and introduces younger visitors to agricultural techniques from the not-so-distant past.
The museum is located in a former farm building at the entrance to the village.
