Vltava Horseshoe Viewpoint – Zduchovice
One of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Czech Republic.
The view from the rocky cliff Na Vraném below the hill Na Altánku, overlooking the horseshoe bend of the Vltava near Solenice, is undoubtedly one of the most stunning views not only in Toulava but in all of the Czech Republic. The river weaves its magic below, creating a scene full of color, rugged rocks, green meadows, and the blue horseshoe formed by the waters of the country’s longest river.
How to get there?
The best option is to park in the village of Zduchovice and follow the green-marked tourist trail. Hike above the village into the forest. When you reach a wider path, turn right to the south. Where the path narrows and bends to the right, a worn marking points left—follow it about 100 meters along the contour line, then turn right for a steep descent to the viewpoint. The reward is absolutely worth it.
