Nová Bystřice Castle
The castle in Nová Bystřice—originally known as Bystřice Castle—is first mentioned as early as the 12th century.
Although the castle, like the town of Bystřice, is officially referenced in a document from 1341, its existence is believed to date back to the 13th century.
The current caretakers aim to restore this historically significant site to its former appearance and social prestige. In 2017, repairs and maintenance were carried out at the castle with the help of many volunteers.
During the summer season, guided tours and cultural events are held here.
