Naděje Pond System
If you're in the Třeboň region and travel from the village of Klec toward Val, you won’t miss the beautiful area dotted with ponds bearing charming names: Faith (Víra), Love (Láska), Hope (Naděje), Deed (Skutek), Good Will (Dobrá vůle), and more.
The Naděje Pond System lies near Lomnice nad Lužnicí in a strip about 1.5 km wide and stretches approximately 7 km north from Klec along the right (eastern) bank of the Lužnice River, which flows 50 to 200 meters from the ponds. This system is one of the most remarkable natural areas in the Třeboň region. It is centered around the Naděje and Skutek ponds, which were founded by Jakub Krčín.
