The South Bohemian Museum
The South Bohemian Museum is one of the most culture institution in southern Bohemia
The South Bohemian Museum is housed in a monumental building in Dukelská Street, which was completed in 1901 and made accessible to the public in 1903. However, it was already founded in 1877 by the Museum Association, which predestined it for the modern mission of a educational and collectors institute serving science, art and industrial development. At the present, it is a beautiful regional museum, which focuses on natural and social sciences.
The museum has a new mobile app that will guide visitors to the exhibition The Story of the City of České Budějovice through the history of the South Bohemian metropolis and the stories of its inhabitants. It includes texts, photographs, spoken word and, above all, activities such as mini-games, quizzes and augmented reality. It is available in both Czech and English language.
