A showcase of American Army equipment from the liberation of Southwest Bohemia in 1945

The museum is located in the picturesque village of Dobčice, just 19 kilometers from České Budějovice. Guided tours are available in Czech or English. The tour duration ranges from 1 to 3 hours, depending on visitors' interest. Admission is voluntary.

Military Vehicles

  • Cadillac 41 (the only one in the Czech Republic; the first car in the world with automatic transmission)
  • Amphibious tracked transporter ("Weasel")
  • Jeep ("Widowmaker") with weapon replicas and trailer
  • 3/4 ton Dodge WC 52
  • Mobile field chapel (likely the only preserved exhibit from a 1,500-piece wartime series)
  • 2.5 ton GMC cargo truck
