Hlízová Tower Viewpoint
The viewpoint at Hlízová Tower at Zvíkov Castle offers a view of the Otava River before it joins the Vltava River. However, beautiful views of both rivers and their confluence can be enjoyed from all the castle walls.
How to get there
By train on the Písek–Tábor line to the Vlastec train stop, from where it is about 7 km on foot to the castle.
By bus from Prague and Písek to Zvíkovské Podhradí. From the bus stop, it is approximately 1.5 km on foot to the castle.
If you arrive by car, there is a parking lot just past the village of Zvíkovské Podhradí. From there, it is about 400 m on foot to the castle.
