Rumpál Castle Tower

The large defensive tower of Strakonice Castle gets its name from the device used to lower offenders into the dungeon at ground level. The tower has a total height of 35 meters, and 134 steps lead to the viewing gallery at a height of 33 meters. From here, the town of Strakonice lies at your feet.
