Rumpál Castle Tower

The large defensive tower of Strakonice Castle got its name from the device used to lower offenders into the dungeon on the ground floor. The total height of the tower is 35 meters, with 134 steps leading to the viewing gallery at a height of 33 meters. From here, Strakonice lies like a town in the palm of your hand.
