Museum of Torture Law
A unique exhibition on medieval torture law and instruments of torture, located in the renovated cellars beneath the town hall on Svornosti Square.
The exhibition covers an area of 400 m², displaying around 100 exhibits and dozens of period engravings.
The mystical atmosphere of the entire exhibition is enhanced by wax figures placed in an authentic setting, sound effects, and, most notably, two special audiovisual effects – the burning of witches at the stake and an execution by sword.
These features intensify the unique experience of exploring the underground chambers and the entire exhibition.
