Haniperk Lookout Tower
The all-wooden lookout tower is 24.5 meters tall, with the observation platform at a height of 21 meters. From the platform, you can see as far as the Temelín nuclear power plant and in the opposite direction toward the Šumava Mountains. The tower was opened to the public in 2019.
How to get there
You can reach the tower either from Bavorov by following the yellow trail to Podhory and then continuing to the summit of Haniperk, or from Vodňanské Svobodné Hory, also along the yellow trail. Just below the tower, there is also a designated fire pit.
