Hlízová Tower Lookout
The viewpoint near Hlízová Tower at Zvíkov Castle offers a view of the Otava River before its confluence with the Vltava River. Beautiful views of both rivers and their confluence can be enjoyed from all sections of the castle walls.
How to get there
By train: Take the Písek–Tábor line to the Vlastec railway stop, then walk about 7 km to the castle.
By bus: From Prague or Písek to Zvíkovské Podhradí. From the stop it is about 1.5 km on foot to the castle.
By car: After passing the village of Zvíkovské Podhradí, there is a car park. From there, it’s about a 400 m walk to the castle.
