Hejtman Pond
Hejtman Pond is a Czech fishpond with an area of 78 hectares. It was built in 1554 by Mikuláš Ruthard. Located in the town of Chlum u Třeboně, it is an ideal spot for anglers, families with children, nature-swimming enthusiasts, and cyclists.
One of the most beautiful ponds in the region lies directly in the tourist-friendly town of Chlum u Třeboně. Along its shores are many campsites with parking options.
For several years, Třeboň Fisheries has allowed recreational fishing on this pond. Its varied shoreline makes it especially attractive to sport anglers, offering peaceful and rewarding fishing. Fish are stocked regularly throughout the year.
The many campsites and accommodation options make this location a popular destination, especially for summer recreation.
