Purkarec Ferry
An interesting alternative for pedestrians and cyclists in the area of the Vltava Cycle Path, EuroVelo 7, or the St. James Way, Via Czechia - Mediterranean Route, as well as along the Hluboká nad Vltavou - Poněšice Educational Trail.
Departure times for the ferry to the opposite bank are always at the top of every hour, depending on passenger interest and by request.
If requested, after handling passengers to the opposite bank, the ferry can be arranged to transport to Karlův Hrádek or offer a scenic tour around Purkarec (towards Karlův Hrádek or the Hněvkovice Reservoir).
