Hluboká nad Vltavou – Castle Gardens and Park
When you visit Hluboká nad Vltavou, take a walk through the castle gardens and park. The compacted gravel paths are well-maintained (some sections may be temporarily impassable due to water damage, but they can be easily bypassed). The castle gardens gradually transition into a forest park. Between the upper and lower gardens, there is a steep 20-meter hill where you might need assistance.
As a wheelchair user, you can access the castle gardens either by car via the wedding entrance (ask at the information center) or by taking the long, asphalted incline from the town center.
Experience Tip
Hluboká nad Vltavou provides excellent accessibility for visitors with disabilities. On the main street, next to the information center, there is a fully accessible house with a kitchen, bathroom, and relaxation area. You can get details and a key at the Infocenter.
