Municipal Museum in Rožmitál na Šumavě

- History of the volunteer fire brigade
- History of the village from 1259 to the present
At the museum in Rožmitál na Šumavě, you can see TESLA radios, measuring instruments, historical telephones, manual switchboards, and a telegraph device from the 1920s.
In addition to the telegraph, telephone and radio exhibition, visitors can explore a rural classroom from a century ago and a fairy tale exhibit with around fifty characters from twenty stories, including the Poppy Doll, Snow White, Křemílek and many more.
HISTORY OF THE VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE
The fire brigade in Rožmitál na Šumavě has operated since the Austro-Hungarian era. The exhibition includes a historical pump from the 1920s, helmets, uniforms, extinguishers and other equipment.
