Open-air museum of the Iron Curtain

The exhibition at the Nové Hrady - Pyhrabruck border crossing provides an overview of the development of border protection from the earliest times to the entry of the Czech Republic into the EU Schengen area. The greater part of the exhibition is focused on the protection of the state border during the so-called Cold War, when the world was divided into two irreconcilable political-economic and military systems.
