Hradiště Mini Lookout Tower
The Hradiště mini observation tower is located on the edge of the town of Písek, in the Hradiště district. The 4-meter-high platform offers far-reaching views of the Písek Mountains and nearby lookout towers.
How to get there
It can be accessed via a dirt path from the Hradiště area (parking available at the end of Hradiště toward Kestřany; from there, continue on foot along a restored path lined with trees). Another route leads from the opposite side, from the Písek – Kestřany road; it’s about 300 meters to the platform.
Do you know that...
…although the tower is located near Písek, the town itself is not visible from it – it’s hidden behind a hill.
