Additional information

The present 15th-century church replaced what was once a wooden structure. According to Ing. Kozák, it is built on the site of an ancient place of worship, and its centre of power lies at the junction of the central nave and the chancel. It probably dates back to a much earlier apparition than the Klokot chapel. The deanery church is aligned with the Klokot chapel along a straight line running precisely from west to east, which also forms their longitudinal axis. This fundamental Tábor line also forms one side of an equilateral triangle, the third vertex of which, pointing south, is the Spring of St Eleanor.

The church’s energy point is not normally open to the public, but you can enter the church and at least partially sense its energy. It is very pleasant and uplifting.

The tower hosts a sales exhibition of old banknotes, old coins, old postcards, minerals and other interesting items. Admission to the exhibition is included in the price of the observation tower ticket.

Do you know that...

… did the town bell-ringer live here with his family until 1956? Can you imagine living in a place like that?
