Owl Trail in Stožec
A fun exploration of the forest world.
Near the village of Stožec, an interactive trail – also called the “Forest Games Area” – has been created. It introduces visitors to forest life, reforestation, and the role of decaying wood.
The trail begins approximately one kilometer from the National Park Information Center, where you can collect activity sheets to fill out while walking along the Owl Trail.
The route features 13 stops that present the forest ecosystem to children in a fun and engaging way. It is a circular path back to Stožec, partially paved, with a total length of 4.5 km. The Owl Trail itself is 1.6 km long. Your guide along the trail is the Ural owl.
