National Stud Farm Písek
Magnificent horses and a national cultural monument in one.
The National Stud Farm in Písek is one of the few sites that is both a national cultural monument and still serves its original purpose.
The stud focuses on horse breeding and improvement, especially of the Czech Warmblood. Young stallions are trained here and later sold or remain in the stud for breeding. Tours of the entire complex are available upon request. The stud also organizes public events and horse shows.

Throughout the summer season (July to September), the National Stud Farm in Písek offers guided tours:
– July–August: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun – at 2:00 PM
– September: Mon, Wed, Fri – at 2:00 PM
– Groups of 10+ by appointment also outside these times.
