Camp Poslední štace
The canoe campsite "Poslední štace" in Boršov nad Vltavou is located on the left bank of the Vltava River, about 400 meters before the mentioned village, near the weir above the Bratří Zátků factory.
It is situated at an altitude of 403 meters above sea level on the 743rd kilometer of the Vltava River. The campsite is also accessible by road from the village square in Boršov nad Vltavou, left past the church via the marked local road. It was built in 1994 and 1995 on the site of an old municipal cherry orchard after extensive landscaping. Behind the hostel above the campsite, there is a newly built fenced sports field for active visitors, where they can play tennis, volleyball, foot volleyball, and basketball.
There is a guarded parking lot for 100 cars. The campsite features a clay court for foot volleyball, basketball, and tennis. You can also arrive with a caravan, motorcycle, or bus. Additionally, you can enjoy fishing or explore the hiking opportunities in the area.
Visitors can also take advantage of their stay for hiking or cycling trips, such as to the ruins of Dívčí Kámen Castle, Zlatá Koruna, or Kleť. Near Boršov nad Vltavou, they can visit an old settlement, the memorial to a U.S. pilot, or take beautiful walks in the surrounding area.
Opening hours in May and June are variable, depending on demand. In July and August, it is open from 9 AM (or from 8 AM by prior arrangement or depending on the occupancy) usually until 10 PM, except on Fridays and Saturdays, when it is open until midnight.
