Glamping na Bídě

Glamping na Bídě

You will stay in a caravan on private land. You’ll be living by the forest, yet still close to Hluboká nad Vltavou Castle and České Budějovice.

Why "Na Bídě"?
The nearby village of Borek is named after the Borek forest, full of pine trees. In 1805, the first cottage was built in Borek, and between 1812 and 1816, three more cottages and a manor inn were added, laying the foundation for the future village. The settlement was called "Na Bídě" ("In Poverty") due to the poverty of its first inhabitants and the lack of water.

The location is approximately 500 meters from a public transport bus stop, which will take you to the heart of České Budějovice in 15 minutes. The accommodation, along with a cozy terrace, is oriented towards a beech forest. The site is bordered by the forest on one side and fields on the other, located approximately 200 meters from a secondary road. You might occasionally hear some noise from the nearby road.

This slight noise should be outweighed by the singing of birds and the rustling of trees from the nearby forest.

Despite the relatively close proximity to the bus stop, you don’t need to worry about your privacy.
