Kubatův Monument
The Kubatův Monument, built in 1904 according to a design by Václav Suchomel, commemorates the reeve of Zbudov, Jakub Kubata, who was executed for defending the rights of local peasants.
The monument stands in the Blata region, near the place where Kubata was allegedly executed on the banks of the Bezdrevský or Soudný stream.
It serves as a symbol of the struggle for justice and a reminder of historical events that shaped the Zbudovská Blata region.
How to get there
You can reach the Kubatův Monument via the green tourist trail leading from Zliv toward Zbudov.
The route is suitable for both hikers and cyclists.
The monument is also located near the Zbudov railway stop.
