Jindra's Educational Trail
Take a walk through the romantic Jindřiš Valley along the Hamerský Stream. Discover fascinating spots along this scenic route, just beyond the town! The trail follows the red tourist trail between Jindřichův Hradec and Malý Ratmírov.
The trail was created and is maintained by the Hamerský potok Civic Association. It runs eastward from Jindřichův Hradec through the Hamerský potok valley to Malý Ratmírov. The stream in this area has carved both a narrow rocky canyon and a wide floodplain. The trail introduces the stream itself, its surroundings, and includes sections for preschool and younger school-age children.
Jindra’s Trail can be divided into four sections:
- Around Vajgar Pond – panels created for the town of Jindřichův Hradec (approx. 1 km)
- Jindřichův Hradec – Jindřiš (approx. 4 km)
- Jindřiš – Blažejov (approx. 3 km)
- Blažejov – Malý Ratmírov (approx. 3 km)
The entire trail is approximately 11 km long. You can preview it online, but it’s much more fun to head out into nature!
