Pilgrimage Church of the Annunciation in Sepekov
Sepekov is one of the oldest settlements in the northern part of South Bohemia.
The Pilgrimage Church of the Annunciation represents the prominent landmark and the most significant ecclesiastical monument of the village of Sepekov, which is located approximately 5 km from Milevsko. It is a majestic Baroque building constructed between 1730 and 1733, showing traces of K. I. Dientzenhofer. It was built on the site of a chapel said to have been founded by Abbot Jarloch.
Tours are available on Fridays and weekends during the summer season, otherwise by prior telephone arrangement.
