Janecký Vintage Car Museum
Shiny historic cars and motorcycles, as well as household items and farming equipment from our grandparents’ time – over 80 exhibits in total. All this awaits at the Janecký Museum in Chotoviny, near Tábor.
Among the motorcycles, you’ll find Czech brands such as Jawa, ČZ, Simson, Pionýr, Tatran, and more. The oldest gem is the Jawa 175 Villiers from 1933.
Highlights among the vintage cars include the oldest restored Aero 30 from 1934 and the foreign-made Mercedes Benz DS 170 from 1953, which featured one of the first diesel engines. There's also the rare Škoda Felicia convertible from 1963 – the only convertible ever made by Škoda. Other brands on display include Tatra, Volga, Moskvitch, and Trabant.
The museum also features a variety of household items such as tape recorders, radios, and other domestic knickknacks. In the courtyard, you can explore agricultural machinery used by our grandparents.
